Wearing the right footwear is important.
We want to protect the green and our feet at the same time.
Bowling shoes must have flat soles and can be white, grey or brown.
These are available from bowls suppliers.
If you have a problem with your feet consider getting special supportive footwear, also available from bowls suppliers.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST...
DO NOT wear your bowling shoes apart from in the clubhouse and on the green and surrounds. You should change from your outdoor shoes into your bowls shoes when you arrive at the club.
If you don't do this, you can bring diseases from outside onto the green which can cause problems...
