EVER WANTED TO TRY YOUR HAND AT LAWN BOWLS – A GREAT AND HEALTHY WAY TO BE OUTSIDE IN THE FRESH AIR AND MAKE NEW FRIENDS?
WE ARE A VERY FRIENDLY AND SOCIAL CLUB AND WOULD BE PLEASED TO SHOW YOU HOW TO PLAY THIS GREAT GAME – (SAFELY IN THESE TIMES OF COVID-19!)
Updated 2nd August
Our bookable system for playing on limited basis is working and we have been bowling since the 30th May. We are observing the due precautions and limitations.
We are playing in line with the guidelines issued by HM Government, Bowls England and Middlesex BA.
You should have received an email explaining what we are doing, and what you have to do to comply with the rules.
You should also have received an email explaining how to use the automated booking system.
Please read through the emails, or the printouts if you have been sent them.
From 29th June we are increasing the number of sessions per week, and increasing the number of players permitted - this is following the latest government rulings and guidance from Bowls England.
This means that up to 6 players can share a rink if they are maintaining social distancing. This will allow for pairs play or, if there is an odd number, 3-ways, and, with immediate effect, triples - but please see the rules on how to play here.
As of the 29th the first 2 Monday and Thursday slots will be reserved by default for the singles leagues (see above) run by Graeme.
The 4 - 6pm slot on Fridays is now reserved for the Pairs League.
Following demand from members, some friendly matches, played in restricted triples format, are being arranged with other local clubs. Details to follow.

We would like to stress that it is up to everyone to be cautious, to follow the rules and not to relax vigilance just yet.
We have had this message from the Middlesex BA Administrator:
'May I ask you all to be aware that parts of Middlesex still have a high rate of Covid 19 cases so we must all be aware of the risk and maintain the regimes of keeping 2 metres apart, frequent washing of hands and sanitising equipment and materials we have been in contact with.'
Continue to follow the current guidance about the coronavirus, exercise common sense, and stay safe and well...
Unfortunately, our regular fixtures have been suspended for the time being.
As ever we will attempt to show the latest situation on the Important Dates page (click below to see this).
